Marguerite is a falsely naïve song, with sophisticated writing and the instrumentation is a reflection of all this at once. Marguerite is a metaphor for human cruelty, harassment, the disaster of human activity on Nature and how purity and gentleness are now seen as a weakness to be eradicated.
Voilà une ode-cover au duo incroyable Thibault Cauvin et -M-, deux musiciens chers à mon coeur. Leur rencontre me touche d'autant plus que mon parcours de musicienne est celui d'une pianiste classique et chanteuse lyrique arrivée par de multiples aventures, au jazz, à la pop et l'électro.
"Pura Vida Artisanal" est mon petit clin d'œil de pianiste et chanteuse à leur morceau "Pura vida ¡Fenomenal!". Je me suis dit "tiens, et mon piano, que ferait-il s'il se reflétait dans une, voire deux guitares? Ainsi est née l'idée de "bricoler artisanalement" sur mon piano des percussions comme peut le faire une guitare acoustique. Les paroles festives me sont venues sans réfléchir, tant ce morceau est dansant! ¡¡¡VEN A BAILAR!!!
